Students will first receive an overview into the art and history of bonsai; students will then venture into styling techniques, tools, and horticulture for bonsai. Students will learn how to prepare, maintain, and style their own bonsai and will leave the class as an experienced bonsai owner!

Teacher Bio: Bob Pressler
Robert Pressler has been fascinated by bonsai since the age of ten when he first saw a bonsai tree at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. He is the owner of Kimura Bonsai Nursey in Northridge, where he teaches ongoing classes each month. He also travels and conducts classes and workshops for bonsai clubs, individuals and corporate team building groups. He has a passion for bonsai and loves to share his knowledge and passion with others.
